You are bidding on a one of a kind BMW R100 / R60 Conversion motorcycle. The goal of this project was to combine modern performance and engine management with the nostalgic look and feel of a Classic BMW black bike. $14,000 invested.
Here is a quick rundown of the bike:
1984 R100 New Nikasil Cylinders, With new 40mm DelOrto carbs.
1976 R60 Rolling chasis, modified with a new rear suspension and shaft drive.
New forks and brembo Dual disc brakes
Lester front and rear Spoke wheels, with new pad material to match brakes.
Updated tire sizes and tubes.
New wheel bearings, swingarm bearings, and steering head bearings.
New Autometer speedometer ( original had 34,000 miles)
New Seat, headlight and tail light rings, gas cap, tool box parts, bars, risers, levers, indicator lights, and cables.
New rubber wherever needed.
Tank and fenders are original
New sealed battery
Stainless Steel hardware wherever possible
Engine Cases prepped by BMW Dealership, Finish is Real Steel Stainless Steel
Bike is licensed and street legal
Weight is about 375lb as I recall

This project took about 2 years to complete. This bike is a blast to ride fast or slow, and feels quite normal.
It is the R90S Lower end With a all new 1984 R100 Top end all New
It goes down the road straight, pulls hard, and stops on a dime.
It also sounds excellent, and it is a big hit wherever it goes.
Most non-BMW people don't know the bike and motor are years apart.
